CADES COVE, TN : CADES COVE is the most visited park and is in the Great Smokies National Park. It is c-r-o-w-d-e-d when the colors are in and most other times too. Elk have been reintroduced in the eastern part of park and are beginning to spread to other areas of the park. Black bears are common in Cades Cove as are whitetail deer. Reportedly, the most common question the rangers get is "At what age do deer become elk?" Remember, these people vote! Scary. Shot to death by photographers of every stripe, Cades is still a great place to visit for a photogrpher.
